What we accept
Clean, gently used clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories, books, games, toys, video games, collectibles, kitchenware, home décor, lamps, and working small electronics.
Small furniture is considered case by case. End tables, accent tables, and similar items may be accepted depending on available space. Please call before bringing any furniture.
All donations must be in clean, safe, working, sellable condition. Acceptance depends on current inventory and storage space.
What we cannot accept
Mattresses and box springs, sofas and oversized furniture, large appliances, broken or unsafe electronics, recalled items, weapons, hazardous chemicals, paint, damaged or incomplete items, and anything with mold, pests, heavy stains, smoke odors, or other sanitary concerns.

Donation receipts and tax deductions: Impact Thrift is a for-profit business, not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We do not issue charitable tax-deduction receipts for goods donated to our store. For information about nonprofit organizations and community resources, visit our Resource Center or explore the organizations listed below.
Drop off approved items at our Citrus Heights store. For larger loads or pickup requests, call first to discuss availability, acceptable items, and any applicable service fee. Pickup is not confirmed until we approve the details.

If you would like to support these organizations directly, you can make a financial contribution using their official donation pages or contact them about needed items. Please check with each organization before dropping off goods.
Women’s Empowerment
We donate 10% of our online sales to Women’s Empowerment, which helps women experiencing homelessness build skills, find employment, and regain stable housing.

We donate clothing to Maryhouse, a daytime resource center for women and families experiencing homelessness, offering essential supplies, hygiene care, and resource guidance.

Francis House Center — Next Move Homeless Services
We have supported Francis House Center through clothing donations. The center has provided basic necessities and resource connections for people experiencing homelessness. Francis House Center has announced a pause in operations during a transition. Contact Next Move before attempting an in-person donation.

As we grow, our reach will grow. We are always looking for new organizations and community partners who share our commitment to dignity, second chances, and practical support for people in need.
We also raise awareness of domestic violence and resources for women, men, children, and families affected by abuse.
