Our Story

The foundation of Impact Thrift is the result of the personal and profound journeys of our founders, Breanna White and Marcio Santos, each touched by the shadow of domestic violence.

Breanna White: A testament to resilience, Breanna is a survivor of domestic violence and homelessness. Her strength through adversity is not just her personal narrative but a beacon of hope for others. Breanna’s journey includes her achievement as a graduate of Women’s Empowerment, an experience that has enriched her passion for aiding women in their most challenging times. Her life reflects courage, dedication, and an unwavering resolve to ensure no woman stands alone in her fight against violence.

Marcio Santos: Witnessing domestic violence as a child, Marcio’s early experiences have profoundly shaped his perspective on its impact. These experiences fostered a strong determination within him to contribute towards creating safe, respectful, and loving homes for all.

Our Commitment

Impact Thrift is more than a thrift store—it’s a commitment to making a difference. We’re currently based at Denio’s Farmers Market every Saturday and Sunday, and we’re in the process of securing funding to open a retail space in Rocklin, CA. Our vision extends beyond the day-to-day operations; it’s about building a future where our efforts significantly impact those in need. So far, we have directed donations and resources to Maryhouse, Francis House, and, true to our core mission, Women’s Empowerment, underscoring our dedication to supporting their invaluable cause.
